On 26 March morning, Bishop Thomas Habib, Coptic Catholic bishop of Sohag, and Monsignor Antoine Tewfik, Vicar General of the Latins in Egypt, met with the religious nuns of the Diocese of Sohag. The meeting began with the Holy Mass.

The meeting with Monsignor Tewfik focused on the reality of life, the service and the call for a renewed path of repentance. It also focused on the aim of the Synod 2021-2024, its outcome, and how we “walk together” today.

The conversation also touched on the coexistence in service and concern for the youth, raising them around faith, discerning the call, listening to them, and creating new ways of attracting pastoral life with them.

The commemoration of the 29th priestly ordination of Bishop Habib was celebrated, and everyone congratulated his excellency with blessings and grace.
